Are you tired of community involvement that feels like merely checking a box, or seems to be more focussed on networking than making a difference? The Rotary Club of Lacombe is a purposeful collective of people looking to make a difference in the community. We are a genuinely diverse and effective group of local professionals, business owners, and neighbours who were tired of armchair critiques and decided to put their shoulder to the wheel. This is where the spirit of 'Service Above Self' truly comes to life—not in endless, tedious meetings, but in highly effective local projects that yield clear, visible, and tangible change right here in our community. If you have a bit of drive and a serious desire for your time, skills, or even just your good humour, to result in genuine local good, then we ought to have a proper chat. We aren’t simply looking for more names on a register; we are actively seeking purposeful partners to help us build a better Lacombe.
We meet at 7am the first Wednesday of the month at the Royal Oak Village, and the third Thursday of the month at 6pm at the Royal Lepage Lifestyles Realty office in Lacombe. We'd love to see you there!

The Rotary Club of Lacombe is excited to host our annual Taste of Lacombe Event, showcasing local restaurants and beverage providers.
On Friday, October 30, at 6:00 pm the Lacombe Memorial Centre doors open for A Taste of Lacombe - Halloween style! Restaurant vendors are providing delicious appetizers and wine, spirits and beer vendors will be providing beverage samples.
We have committed to donating 50% of the proceeds to the Broom Tree Foundation, and will also continue to support youth through scholarships and leadership camps along with other projects around our beautiful city.
All food and drink samples are included in your $75 entry ticket!
At 8:00 pm, the music gets louder, the cash bar opens, and the night continues as a dance until midnight. (last call is 11:30pm) We will be making sure the party rocks!
Costumes are encouraged (it is Halloween season, after all!) — but don’t worry, it’s not required.
